About Ken Stulgis

How often have you thought about what the person you are talking to on the phone looks like? Hi, I’m Ken and have my home along the Kalama River in Southwest Washington. I retired in 2000 after spending most of my life in sales. I began collecting Ambassadeur reels the year I retired and soon was into buying and selling then started on Ebay about 2001. Like in most hobbies it did not take me long to realize that quality was the key and the up-grading of what reels I had collected began.

I have established a working relationship with Simon Shimomura, author of two outstanding Ambassadeur books, consequently they are listed on Ebay. My trading business has led me into selling consignments and this past year was very exciting selling outstanding collections from Kentucky, Louisiana and California. Examples were 5500CDL boxed, 5500G boxed and 4000D boxed to name just a few.

The KALAMA RIVER is a beautiful river and the home of Salmon and Steelhead most months of the year. We are fortunate to have two hatcheries supporting these runs.
