I haven't updated much lately... in fact it has been nearly a year. But there was finally something new to say. I updated the Big News page and the main page but that is all I have for now. Since there is news again on Shinohara I will try to keep up with it better.
5/12/03 Drama CD 8 has been out for a while. I am sorry that I am just now getting the picture up. Anyway it has been added to the Radio Plays page.
5/10/03 First off I would like to start with an important message. I really appreciate fans who visit this site. I am more than happy to have people sign the guestbook. However, please do not sign if you are going to leave an advertisement. It will be deleted. I do not condone the use of any products advertised in such a manner and warn anyone who views such posts to not follow the links. I can not garentee what will be on the other side. I will delete them as soon as I can but (as with the case of the current situation) it may take a day or two. Please exercise caution, especially when the link looks suspicious.
Now on with the updates:
I added more information to my (Lynx) bio on the Email page. The first of our translations is up on the newly added Translations page (in the Manga section). I finally got around to adding the pictures of the Special Box set. New news about Shinohara has been added to the Big News page. I got a small start on the Merchandise page. I think that is it for this weekend. I plan to eventually have pictures from the new artbook up but that will take some time still. Also please bare with us on the translations. They will be slow. Thanks.

3/18/03 I added the new banner for the Sakura Convention for this year (for what it will be worth). I realized it was still the one for 2002. -_- So no it wont be later in April it is actually only about 2 weeks away.
3/17/03 I added a link in the links section for the Manga Coalition. Kail found the site while searching a few days ago. They have already translated volume 1 and are working on more.
Updating with the images from the Box Set and the Tarot cards is going to be delayed due to the fact that Sakura Con is coming up in 2.5 weeks and I need to get some art projects finished for the art show. If anyone is attending the convention, one of my pictures will include Yuuri in the top left corner. You can also stop by the (resin) modeling panel on Friday which I (Lynx) will be part of presenting.
3/8/03 Kail brought to my attention that another page has taken some of our pictures (2 to be exact). One of them is a scan we did from manga 27 and the other is a fan color that Kail did. They did not credit her for the fan color. I just want to ask that people please credit us if you are going to take pictures we have worked hard on. We are not going to be stingy and not let people have them. We just want people to know who did the work. Of course we aren't claiming anything that is shinohara's as our own so in that respect we really can't stop you from using scanned pictures. For the original works of art we ask that you please not take those without asking first because those do belong to us. Also keep in mind that if you do take the originals and the fan colors without asking that it will be blatently apparent where it came from as we are the ones who worked on those pictures (and we still have the original photoshop files to prove it to anyone who asks, which means we can show you the picture at any stage of the coloring/creation process). I also added a warning to the artwork page for people who don't read the updates. Again we are not upset we just want people to know that we would like credit where it is due. Thanks for your understanding.
I have recently aquired my own Special Box set thanks to Kinokunia's in Seattle, WA. The only place in the US to have it on the shelf! Kail didn't want to ruin her special artbook (which is completely understandable) to bring you some of the beautiful scans, but I don't mind so much. So hopefully by next weekend I will have up pictures from the Special Box including scanns of the cards and some of the pictures from the artbook. I also found a deck of Shinohara Tarot cards. I will scan and add those to the merchandise page. They include images from Anatolia Story, Umi no yami Tsuki no Kage and Yami no Purple Eyes.
I also recently found a great place to look up stuff for Anatolia story and Shinohara in general. Of course the place costs a LOT, but for the true fan it is worth it. If nothing else it is worth it just to see what is up for sale/auction. The stuff actually comes from Yahoo Japan auctions but you buy through this site since most people in Japan wont ship internationally. Check out the Big News site for more on that.
2/2/03 I hope people were able to successfully download the MP3s. I regret that I have to delete them off the server but it is just too costlly to keep them up. If you want them for yourself in CD format you can always check CD Japan for the Radio Plays (which is where the songs came from).
1/30/03 For 2 days only I am going to offer both of the MP3s for the radio plays. The first is sung by the voice of Hotohori (Fushigi Yuugi) and the second is sung by the seiyu for Yuuri. Saturday night I will be taking them down and they probably wont go back up (unless I find a suitable host). To save them to you computer right click on the link. If you have IE then click "Save Target As" and save it where you want on your hard drive. If you have Netscape, click "save link as" to the location of your choice. I hope you enjoy them.
1/27/03 Only a minor update today. I was working on some graphics for a friend and I decided to add one of the link buttons to the links page. So thats it.
1/25/03 Whoa! 2 in one month! ^_^ Well I finally got around to putting up the history page. I also added a bit to the Big News page about the Box Set that Kail picked up. I added a page on Nakia that Hero came up with a LONG time ago and I just never implemented. Since the Boxed Set has another artbook I will add information on that to the artbook page when I get scans of the pictures. I will also be adding perminant info on the Box Set to a page on merchandise that I am working on adding. Since the manga has ended there may not be much more to add. Though we will try with all ernestness to get translations done (in small pieces if necessary) to the page to make it whole.
1/5/03 Ok again it has been too long since I updated but I have been moving. I am moved now but still unpacking. -_- I do have somethings to update though so I figured I had better get to it. I added links to seiyuu websites for the seiyuu that I could find them for on the Seiyuu page. I also added a picture of Vol 7 of the radio plays (which I will update with a better picture once Kail gets hers) and information on when Vol 8 will be available.
Kail and I have both recently discovered a GREAT new anime/manga called Tenshi na Konamaiki (A Cheeky Angel) which we would recomend for any who are interested. Information on the show can be found at this wonder ful site: http://home.pacifier.com/~caspian/
11/17/02 I know it has been a long while since I have done any serious updates. I am sorry about that. It isn't totally for lack of material. Hero wrote a History of Anatolia for use about 6 months ago but forgot to send it to me before summer vacation. Well I got it about 2 or 3 months ago and I still haven't taken the time to put it up. That should all change once I finally get moved. By then Kail should also get her Special Box she ordered from Japan.
For this update I added a picture to the 3rd Manga page of Yuuri and Maripas. It is the one from the Sho Comi web site that was posted when the story was mentioned.
Also keep in mind that things arriving from Japan will probably still be slow for a while. The whole Longshorman mess has been a pain here. I finally got Sho Comi 21. Anyway just be patient and add about 2 extra weeks to everything coming from over seas.
9/14/02 I added pictures of Book 28, Kikkuli's Day, The Fan book back and front. I updated the 3rd Manga page with information as well. I added Info and pictures of the "Special Box" to the Big News page. That was pretty much it for this update. More to come as it arrives.
9/12/02 I actually created these updates on 8/25 but I am just now getting around to putting them up. I am sorry for the delay. I will add pictures for the Fan book and 28 as I get a chance to scan them (which hopefuly will be Saturday or Sunday). I also added Kails view of AX to that page. Thanks for sticking by us!

8/1/02 I decided to change my (Lynx) email on the page masters page to the sign the guest book link. The reason for this is so that I dont miss anyone's email. I have been worried for sometime that with all the junk I get in my hotmail account that someone's email has been lost. This way you know I get it (because I am notified each time my guest book is signed) and I know that I get it (because it isnt going to my junk mail folder in Hotmail by accident). I feel this will benifit the page more. If you dont want everyone who visits to be able to view it just click the private message thing and I will still be able to read it. I am sorry to anyone who might not have gotten a reply from me, please sign the guest book with your email included and I promise to reply! Thank you all for understanding.
As for updates. I added the ISBN number for the Anatolia Artbook to the Shinohara page. I also added the space for the 7th Radio play for when Kail gets hers and we are able to post the picture on the site. There isnt much else I did this update. I am still working steadily on the picture which is about half done now. I can't wait to post it. And as always...thank you for your patience with us all.
7/21/02 Today is Kail's birthday (as I mentioned in the news section). I added some news about Shinohara's new series to the news section as well. I compliled and added an AX report about our first time to the convention. I got a picture of the three of us together but I need permission from everyone before I post it on the site. I added some new artwork from Kail on to the page in the Artwork section. As you might have seen the people behind Mac Hall were gracious enough to post a picture I sent them of some cosplayers on their site shortly after AX so I still emplore people to check out their wonderful web comic. I will post more when I get more time (this summer has been non stop!).
6/17/02 Wow I haven't added anything in too long. Ok so I have some news on the "Big News" page. I added the last predict cover to the manga page. Kail has some original art work of her in anatolia garb to put on the page which I have put up in the art work section. I am working on a picture of the three of us but it is no where near finished. That is it for todays updates.
6/1/02 Well I updated the artbook page. mostly I just reduced the images so they are easier to load. I hope that helps anyone who wanted to view the page before. I will work on changing the page around more at some point so that it is less irritating to view I guess? Anyway I sat down today to work on a Kikkulli's Day page and have NO idea what to put down. If I knew how to read the story that would be one thing. I know bits and pieces like that Kikkuli and his sons are writing on tablets which are displayed (at the end of the story) in a museum. That Kikkulli has to sets of twin children (on set boys that look like their mother and one set girls who look like thier father). It also has Yuri's oldest son in it. That is about it. I will start with some pictures and add story info as I figure it out. Sorry for the delay on this.
5/19/02 I changed the prediction picture of book 27 which was in the slot for the book cover with the actual book cover which I scanned today. I did a fair amount of scanning today and should in the next few days have some new stuff up.
5/11/02 Well I added info to the news page about the new manga series coming out this fall. I also posted when the next story would be out in sho comi. I hope that I can get more done on these as time allows. today I am not feeling too well. I did add a picture though so I hope that is good!
5/5/02 Ok so it has been a week from the convention and I am still recovering. I have somethings I want to put up on the page but is going to require sometime to scan the stuff. Basically I will be making a page on the two sub stories. I will be adding some pictures and hopefully getting my latest coloring job up soon. I have yet to see the article in Animerica about Sora Wa but I keep looking. I made off like a bandit at the convention too. I found tons of Initial D stuff (another of my favorite series). I won a prize in the Modeling contest and got a job offer from a comic company (it hasnt panned out yet but I am hoping something will come of it). So all in all it was a good weekend. ^_^ It looks like I will be meeting Hero at AX too. ^_^ I was looking over the page today and not sure what to add...if anyone has suggetions please feel free to send them to me. I am always looking for new things to put on the page. Just so you know..translations are on hold for now and a history page is being slowly compiled. Other than those lay the ideas on me. ^_^
3/19/02 Basically I just added some information to the Shinohara page. Kail got 4 of the novels on order and a friend helped us translate the titles of some of the stories so I rearanged and updated this page.
3/4/02 Thank you to Yui who sent us the translation for the "Thank You" letter located on the Sho Comi website. I posted it in the News section along with Yui's email for anyone who wishes to comment. Hero assures me she has chapter 1 done but not typed up yet. We are all waiting patiently. ^_^
2/24/02 Well inspiration hit me last night at 2am and I worked on and a new page graphic for the main page. I hope you all like it. I also added a new wallpaper to the downloads section (I know ANOTHER one hehe but I dont hear complaints so we will keep at it. ^_~). Other than that there has been a lack of things to update lately. Until the first of the short stories comes out or Hero gets the first chapter translated we wont have much to add. I will try to get something new up though even if I have to scan stuff. As always thank you all for visiting the page. The number of people visiting has greatly increaced since the Animerica Extra small blurb with Kail's letter. We are excited about what might happen when the actual article comes out this spring. ^_^ As always we are striving to bring you the best web page out there for Anatolia so if you have any ideas, comments or complaints don't hessitate to sign the guest book or email one of us
2/10/02 Yesterday's updates were a little pathetic so I decieded to do a little more today. I added another wallpaper to the downloads section. I added the color picture from the last Sho comi to the Manga 3 page. I updated the introduction page. I added a few tidbits to the Characters page but still no picture of Irubani ..gomen. I uploaded another colored picture in the Artwork section colored by Lynx. And that will be it for this update. I hope to have more in the near future. Enjoy for now and tell us what you think.
2/9/02 The manga has come to an end. It was a good ending and we hope to have more info on that and what is to come in the near future. I will also be posting the color picture for the opening page and we are both working on pictures from the last Sho Comi. We will miss Anatolia Story but we look forward to her next story and will be reporting on that as soon as it becomes available. ^_^
1/26/02 I added two more pictures to the Artwork page and I changed a few pictures in the characters page and added ones of Yuuri's family and Nephruto. That is pretty much it for this update. Also we got a signing in our guest book from a girl who thought to tell every one the ending to the manga. I hope no one is bothered by this spoiler. I added a warning at the begining just to give people a heads up.
1/22/02 I actually added the cover to 26 and News about the email being printed on Saturday but I just now am getting around to mentioning it ^_^ I have another picture to add to the artwork page. Both Kail and I are already hard at work on the next one. I hope you like the new layout of the page. If there is anything you want to see just email one of us.
1/13/02 I added a page for wallpapers. These are ones that I created. I will be adding ones that Kail and Hero suggest as they bring me the ideas. Please let me know if you like them.
I took some more time and used up all this extra energy I had to day. I recreated the main page picture and put it up. It now has the downloads and News links on the picture. That is it for today though. ^_^ Enjoy

12/29/01 Today I have been really busy. I took down the MP3 with an explination on the Radio CDs page. I am sorry but it was just too much for me to carry at this time. Hopefully I will find a way to put it back up later. I also added two pieces of art to the Artwork page that Kail recently finished. I am trying to get things a bit more organized on the server site so please let me know if I have done something and forgot to fix the code (for instance I moved a picture to a folder and forgot to add that to the code so the picture doesnt show). I went through and fixed up both the Images and Volumes pages in the Sho Comi section. I added two teaser pictures from Sho Comi 24 which show part of the cliff hanger we were left with for two weeks. I added two pictures to the Images page that were misc ones found in the front of the Sho Comi. That is pretty much it. Doesnt sound like much after looking it over but man this takes time to work out. If there is anything you would like to see changed, added or taken down just let one of us know.
Oh and as a side note...I want to suggest that all who havent go see the movie "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring". VERY good.

12/24/01 I didnt do much this time but I added three pictures to the Sho Comi Extra's page. I also added "teaser" pictures for the pictures that Kail and I are working on (in the Artwork section). Let me also just say that the story has just taken a big turn and it is really up in the air where it is going now. Hopefully those of you who buy Tonkubon wont be stuck with the same cliff hanger we got stuck with. We only have to endure it for two or three weeks but you would have to endure it for 3 months and that would be hell. I will post some "hint" pictures when I get a chance..but I dont want to give too much away. Anyway that is all for this update.

12/15/01I added more news to the "Big News" page (check it out for information). Also 26 should be out soon and 24 of Sho Comi is out now. I added the news to the page and both Kail and I are working on Pictures from the last few Sho Comi (coloring them) to be used on the page. I will post them as soon as possible...they will be spoilers though...so beware. ^_^

9/23/01 25 is out!! I was correct on predicting the cover so it is pretty safe to say that my prediction for 26 will be correct too. I added text links under the normal image to make it easier for people who didnt want to wait for the main graphic to load. I have some other images of stickers and a card set only available in Japan to add but I didnt have enough time to get it done today. I will also post the actual cover of 25 as soon as I get a chance to scan it. There wasnt much else to add. The story is getting interesting, but I wont spoil it for you.
9/8/01 Ok it has been two months since I updated and yes I know I should be slapped for it. Gomen!!! Anyway there hasn't been much to add to the page. I finaly got the cover of volume 25 up and the predicted cover for 26 came out. There are some new stickers that came in the last one and some cards. Most of the pictures are old images though one is not. When I get them up they will be in the Extras section of Sho Comi. We are VERY close to 10,000 hits. If you are the 10,000th person please send us a copy of the counter at 10,000 and we will work up an award for you. Also we are nearing one year which is really cool that they are both coming up together! Hey and if anyone has any ideas for the page or you want to send in a 10,000 hits pic feel free and we will post it on the page. Thank you all for visiting!
As for the story line...I dont know what to say. They have capture Uruhi and he is singing like a Jaybird. Then he grabs Nakia and in one last effort kills himself. So we predict that either this will soon end the story or just the story line. I dont see any reason for the story to continue after Nakia is exposed but who knows.
7/8/01 I guess I haven't been very good at updating lately. It is hard when I run out of things to add. Kail and I have come up with a few ideas and are working on them. I have gotten some history books to try and make pages about that. Look for icons, backgrounds, more art work, cuneiform fonts and more. Possibly even some cursors if we can find something to worthy of a cursor.
For this update: I am trying to fix some text problems throughout the page. I added some volumes to the sho comi and hope to soon have volume 24's cover up. I am also going to predict the future covers. I added a teaser picture in the third manga page. I added art work to the art work page. I added 4 more of the extras from Sho comi. Basically I worked on housekeeping. ^_^ enjoy.
4/22/01 Ok even with the convention I decided to do something. So I posted a picture that Kail worked on in the artwork section. I also added the newest volumes of Sho Comi to the Volumes page however I am still not getting anywhere with translations or even summaries. Oh and I updated some of the character information in the Characters page. That will be it though untill after the convention. We are both planning to go to Sakura con dressed in Anatolia Attire so if you plan to be there look for us. ^_^

3/24/01 I know that Updates have been more like two weeks apart or more now but that can't be helped. There isn't a whole lot new going on just now. With translations going at a snails pace that could be a while. For now I have updated the Shinohara page, updated some spelling errors I came across (PLEASE tell me if you see more) and added some updated info to the Manga 3 and Voumes pages. Other than that I will work on getting some of the new pages up and working on the old. Thank you so much for visiting our site!
3/10/01 I added a small seiyuu listing to the Radio Plays page. No more pictures yet but I am working on that too. We have had no fan art yet. Please feel free to email us something if you want it on the page. There is also a new opening theme song sung by Yuuri but I need the web page space before I can put it up.
2/18/01 Added some black and white fan service pictures to the Images part of the page. Updated the characters section (I realized I had the info on Ruuyi and Shala Mixed up). I have begun work on a History page and have begun to revamp the Shinohara page for a future update. I also added the pictures to the ShoComi Extras page.
2/4/01 The latest Sho Comi is out so I am working on getting the latest images up for that. We will also be adding some very interesting pictures of Kail and Ramses. Their latest boy fight has landed them buck naked in the middle of a war (and they are still fighting). Becuase they released 3 and 4 together in one volume there wont be another Sho Comi for about a month. this also gives us time to catch up translation wise and maybe work on some back issues. Also on the inside flap of the book there was an add for an Anatolia Screen Saver. I have downloaded it and installed it but it doesnt seem to work right. We will check out why and post it on the page as soon as we find it works correctly. For anyone interested in Watese Yuu her latest manga Imadoki also runs in Sho Comi and they have a background for it on the same page. The link is in the links section (caution the page is all in japanese)

1/27/01 I changed the main picture again. I know I know...I just like this one a whole lot more and it is currently only available if you got the first issue of Sho Comi for this year. Thank you Kail for editing the original picture for use on the page. ^_^ I have started the Sho Comi page and it will be a better idea than what I originaly came up with so check back for the update. I am still compiling my shinohara page but that should be up in part soon. The artwork will be up as it is available. Please by all means send me your art work I will post it on the page. ^_^

1/6/01 Well since the Holiday season is over I am going back to different main picture. However I didnt want to use the same one as before so it is new. That is all I have updated for today.

12/1/00 I added the cover of book 22 and reduced the images for the manga covers. hopefully they will load faster now (50k each was a bit much -_-). You may have to refresh to see the new images.
11/11/00 I added to and updated the links section. I also updated the manga page (21-25) to reflect when the new tankubon should be out. I am working on updating the main page and adding some more pages to this as a whole. Look for a small page on Chie-sensei and a page on the Geography and history of the land and people in the manga (mostly Egypt and the Hittites)
